Are you positive it's a bass boost knob? I looked on their website and says gain knob included. I'd much rather it be a gain knob then bass boost as I always leave that off, but I want a gain knob for sure even if I have to buy a universal rca type.

I drive a 94 honda accord wagon(think large open suv interior). I listen to alot of alternative, metal, rap, and a little techno and want to stay sealed as I prefer SQ(not an audiophile) over SPL. I do still however like to get it loud and feel the vibrations, but couldn't care less about anyone...

How does this sub compare to a Type-R, Kappa, Dcon, Dayton HO, Boston G1, etc? I'm looking for a kinda sq oriented sub bc I listen to alot of rock/alternative/metal, but I also listen to rap/techno and like to feel the thump. Could this deliver that in a 1^ft sealed box?

Ended up going with a Kenwood X597. Had all the features I wanted plus some. Bluetooth, 4v pre-outs, variable colors, 22x4 RMS, 2yr warranty, etc

Need a reputable, reliable amp that'll do 300-400watts at 2ohm or 4ohm. Don't need anything crazy high end, but don't want a cheapo either. Could also use a full wire kit, prolly 8 gauge

Really don't like bluetooth to be honest. Would much rather just plug in a cord

Cheaper is better. Just want something with good Pre-Outs for amps and aux in so I can hookup Pandora through my android phone
