It's a jl audio 300/4v2 I'm using a volt meter and I get a reading of 17.6 volts on channel but when I bridge then, I get a reading of about 1.2 volts, what's going on??

My current subwoofer setup consist of 2-10w6v2 powered by 1000/1v2 jl amplifier. I want deeper bass, not any tightercuz that sh*t gives me a headache. Options are add another 10w6v2 using the same power supply so approximately 350 watts rme per speaker or remove all subs and install a 13w6v2...

I never had any sort of noise from the 300/4v2 amp and the HD600/4 sound about the same to me but my speakers do really like the extra 75 watts and I have a fuller sound with deeper midbass from my speakers.

I was recently in the market for a 450/4v2 to upgrade from my 300/4v2 but I was told by 3 different JL dealers that the 450 slash amp was discontinued. So I went with the JL 600/4 HD.

I'd say get the 5 channel that way you could high pass the speakers and low pass the subwoofer..

I agree with the lower line Focal's tweeters being unbearably harsh on the ears but the higher end sound amazing, especially when you give them the rated power.. they do get bright if you underpower them (or so it seems in my vehicle; that's why I got the 300/4 bridged running only the front...
