the radio does have a sub output but it only has one RCA jack.. its weird.. it says subwoofer right on the cord.. its a kenwood 1800 class d mono

have a jensen in dash headunit.. every other radio ive ever had has a spot for two rcas in the back to controll the subwoofer.. this headunit only has one.. i can connect the rcas to the rear hookup thing but then i cant controll the subs from the headunit.. any help?

got 2 alpine type r 12's commin.. gotta sealed box.. but would they sound better in a vented box?

alright but if i get one type r.. thats 500 watts rms.. my amp runs 900.. am i just supposed tobe carefull and hope it doesnt blow up?

fyi the kenwoods are 1200 peak and 400 rms and the xplods i was talkin about are the 1200 watt xs series ones

ok fellas.. got a choice to make here.. i have a kenwood 1800 class d mono amp that puts out 900 rms at 2 ohms. and its 1 ohm stable.. i had two kenwood KFC-W3011's.. but i sold one to this kid for 90 bucks .. lol what a deal for me.. but anyways.. im debating on getting 2 more of these.. or 2...

i guess the question i have is are those subs gunna sound way better than my shitty kenwoods that can handle 400 rms a peice?

i was lookin to get some mtx thunder 8500s.. and i knew that they were gunna be expensive.. but the question i have is if they are so expensive.. shouldnt they be able to handle more power than 500 rms??and if anyone knows of a good deal, im looking to get 2 12's for around 300-350$
