welding wire makes a very good power cable. I've used it before with good results. it's usually very fine strands, very flexible, and well insulated.

Thanks, that's a possibility then. My only problem would be the port then, I don't have much depth to deal with in the box only about 8 inches, I'd have to do it with pvc and a elbow or something. I'm not sure I'd have good results. What would happen if I ran the eD sub in an enclosure...

nope, that won't work. I need either a single 4ohm or a dual 2 ohm. thanks for the suggestion though
