Hey guys, just wondering if I need to upgrade my 130 amp alternator to a ho? I'm running a Memphis mojo 1500 rms amp to a x12. Currently using 0 gauge wire from the front alt/battery to my 2400 watt kinitk battery in the trunk than to the amp ect.

Well actually I have a 300 amp fuse between the front battery and 2nd battery in the trunk, than a 150 amp fuse between the 2nd battery to the amp in the trunk. Fixing to change the fuses today and wanted to get the right size

Hey guys do they make a ho alt for the 2012 Malibu 2.4l 4 cylinder? And would I have any problems installing it on my Malibu? I heard there were some issues with some regulator limiting the output of a ho alt on these models
