i just installed 2 12" kicker cvrs on a 1000 watt kicker amp using 4 gauge kicker wires. when i first crank the car the subs sound really loud. after about 20 minutes or so they dont seem as loud anymore. what is the problem and how can i fix it?

i just ran a 4 gauge kicker amp kit in my car. i have a 2 ch sony 600 watt amp to it. it was sounding and playing good for a couple of days. then no bass. the big 80 agu fuse under the hood went out. i replaced it with a bigger fuse and it still goes out. i didnt have the stereo on and it went...

can you guys give me the names of some good sounding subs that are also loud.

so what subs would you guys recomend for the same price range?

how much better are the cvrs than the comps. what would sound better 4 12" comps or 2 12" cvrs.

1st of all, yes ive heard of cadence. they sell that **** at bootleg flea markets. second of all, im not saying kicker is the best, they are one of the best. and yes fosgate makes some good **** they're just as good as kicker, all i wanted to know is out of a kicker 1000 watt amp and alpine...

i know about ohms and all that. and no i am not an idiot, ive heard lots of sysytems. once again i always see KICKER winning in sound competition so stfu.

mb quart and audiopipe? i never hear about them winning in car audio competitions. kicker dominates in those. i believe kicker and alpine are in the top 5 in car audio.

i can get both on ebay for about $280 each. the only thing is the kicker is refurbished and the alpine is new. what do yall think?

im trying to decide between an alpine 1000 watt mono amp and kicker 1000 watt mono amp. alpine mrp1000 is rated at 1000x1 at 2 ohms and 600x1 at 4 ohms. kicker is 1000x1 at 2ohms and 500x1 at 4 ohms. they will be powering 2 15" kicker cvrs. which one would deliver cleaner and louder bass?
