Could I wire or run a 2 channel amp with a 800 watt peak, and un it to both my 10 in subs there 200rms each so I was wondering if I could turn the amp down so it don't push hard, and so my speakers don't take much damage, so could I run my amp at 400 wats and split it in each channel to both...

And a quick question what doxe the channels mean on the amplifier?

I don't not have the amp, so any suggestions, I have like 125 to 150 to spend on a amp,for this set up? And do you know what wire and what cords I will have to run for the subs and the amp?, and yea would really appreciate a diagram, imma look for one

I have orderd 2 10in roockford frosgate subs, set for 400 max peak, and im wondering if my kicker zx400.1 amp with 1 connector will run both subs, and hold up? Its a 400 watt amp, imm on a budget so help please
