How does that work as far as wiring and powering it go? The 1" and 4" speakers take up 2 channels and the 6.5" midwoofer takes up 2 channels?

I guess what I'm asking is if it could be a setup problem or is it a case where I need to have 6.5" or 6x9's to get a total range of sound?

Today I'm upgrading my car stereo head unit and sub. When I took out the old aftermarket clarion I noticed inside the stereo bay in the back was a box that said clarion dc/dc converter. What is this for? Do I need to leave it hooked up in my car when I put in my pioneer premier deh-860?

thanks for the advice. Looking at it by just dropping the speaker in it's already a very tight fit, which is good. The eclipse speaker also came with some thin foam insulation that should make sure it seals completely. I'll just try predrilling it and see how that works.
