another question... i know the JL can be bi-amp'd... which would yield a better output... sq+l wise a 600w amp(75x4) to power the tweets and woofers - each getting 75w or two amps: a 50wx2 amp and a 100wx2 amp. the tweets would get 50w and the woofers 100w.

i'm selling my car and maybe my boston separates and rf punch amp will go with it. i'll probably get the subs(2 w6v2) and the amp(kx1200.1) and replace them with 12" kicker comps. the rf will power these comps. i'd like to put in a sound system there so that buyers would be more enticed to get...

you're right, the birth sheet on my 1200.1 is 1460w. i haven't had any problems with this amp...

try the type rf line of amps from rockford.
