no dude the thing is ive got dvc subs (4 ohm+4 ohm) ... so ill be having like 8 ohm per sub... will my 400x2 rms be giving half the power since the impedance is doubled?

if i were u id get alpine head unit, component speakers and subwoofers... go get the type r woofers and component speakers... they are great product from alpine.. and for the amp go get fosgates....

havent really tried audiobahn but i have heard negative things abt it... i actually met a guy who had audiobahn all the way and he wasn't satisfied....

tell ur friend not to get it...eventhough it produces more than a thousand watts it wont do any good to his system because it would be all distortions that he will be hearing...
