Just purchased 2 Pioneer Premier 12's from him. Easy to contact, fast shipping, and the subs were well packed as they were heavy. Would do business again. Recommend to anyone.

Ok so I'm gonna try Pioneer's box plans at first for one and see what it sounds like. I have another question it says 1.6 cubes with a 3" dia x 2.5"port. What would that tune to and if I put a longer port in would that raise or lower the tuning?

How should the box be faced and should I do a wedge box? will be in a hatch. which way should the ports be faced? will be playing mostly rap and hip hop so im looking for some loud spl daily if possible.

The recommended would be a 1.2 cu.ft box with a port of 3" Dia X 3.5" This is what the tech guy at pioneer said would be the ideal box. Sound right or should i do a slot port? What kind of ports should i get and where to buy them? thanks

What are some good subs for cheap? are the hfi's worth it or should i get 4 cvr 12's ported or is there anything out there better than the cvr in the same price range? just trying to keep it cheap and small don't think i want 15's.

Thinking about building a wall in my hatch since its not deep I'm going up. 4 15s or 6 12s. Something cheap and loud for the size. What do you think would be a good choice?

I have about 4.5 cubes gross to work with. gonna be using a ap1500d on 4 10's. i was looking at the cvr's because i'm on a budget. is there anything else out there that will work better in this space? i can get 4 for $250 new shipped so anything cheaper also. thanks

Would this prefab be good? 12" inch DUAL SUBWOOFER SUB BOX ENCLOSURE Ported Vented - eBay (item 320674660037 end time Apr-20-11 12:30:24 PDT) It says 1.75 per chamber with a labyrinth style port. Just askin or would it be better for one L slot port on one end on the same side as the subs?

Bought these out of the classifieds and I was just wondering if I should port the box or not. Max dimensions are 17x40x14. Should it be dual chamber ported? Do I have enough space for ported period? Can't find much info on the subs. Would like it to be more for a loud SQ setup. Running a no name...
