I'm trying to help out a friend who just got back from Iraq put a new system in his Ford F150 truck. Either 2 - 10's or 2 - 8's. The max volume is about .75 cu ft sealed and the max mounting depth is 5.5" He's looking for SQ, but still wants it to get plenty loud if desired. I have suggested...

do i get the D2 to wire to 1 ohm or the D4 to wire to 2 ohms?? amp is undecided right now...I have one that I will use for now, it's an MA Audio 1886i (i think that's the model number) with 500wrms which i'm assuming is at 1 ohm. I can't fine any good information on the 1886i for specs. I do...

so it's a solid sub then? do you know how much they cost? how do you know so much about subs...not many people know much about ID it seems. i'd idealy like to get an IDMax, but don't want to spend that kind of money on a sub. what kind of subs do you run?

What is one of the OZ Matrix Elite 12" going to cost me? What kind of power do they need? Are they like the IDMax? What kind of volume to they require, ported, vented, sealed? I guess I really don't know a whole lot about them...I've read about a lot of other subs, but not this one...

Any thoughts on a better sub than the IDQ 12" for $160 shipped?? I'm looking for a solid SQ sub (with a little spl too). I'm pretty set on a sealed box. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks for the advise Bake and OnYrMrk...i'm planning on doing the big 3 right away! i'll be looking at running the eD nine.4 to my components and rear fill...will that be ok? or do i just run the rear fill off the deck? thanks again!
