PG has always been one of the best amps available. Good clean power. I love phoenix gold amplifiers. You may even want to go with a PG Ti 10" sub also instead of the alpine.

switch to larger subs if you want SPL. Buy SPL subwoofers. JL w3's and w6's are more of a SQ sub. Ported will also give you a bit more SPL. Go with the newer 12w6v2's....some nasty SPL there...if you have the cash go with 2 13w7's

I am kinda looking for a technical answer here. I know about the clearence for the sub and all that. I just need to know if there is going to be a huge diference before I go ahead with building the box.

I am thinking about setting up a custom install in my car. What I want to do is have the sub fire dirrectly into the cabbin. I will build a box that will make the sub look flush to the rear seat pannels when the seats are down. Is this going to sound like crap because the sub is going to fire...

I am just wondering how much of an impact this product will make on my system??? Any kind of SPL or SQ gains or is it just convienient??? is it worth the $130 or is it a waste??? My system is listed below(comming soon portion). TIA Steve

I second that...CDT or Focal...if I didn't spend so much $$$ on my JL's a while back I would go with one of the two.

My Tantrum 1200.1 is on the way, as well as a my IDMAX12d4 sub, and my powergrid. CAN'T WAIT!!!!! As far as the XXX do a search for RE on the web.

I ordered my Image Dynamics on Tuesday and it will be here tomorrow. (great job to Main St Audio for their promt processing and shipping --$330 shipped-- AAA+++) I have a PG Tantrum 1200.1 also on the way. I know the RMS is over 1400 watts at 4ohms the amp and my sub is dual 4ohm (i messed up)...
