    Recommendation for a 15" sub

Just for an update, I picked up an old mofo 15, the thing weighs about 70 pounds, and has a 4" voice coil, its a friggin beast. I cant wait to try it out, although it takes about 2600W rms, so i am going to need a second Zeus ZRX1500.1d

    The Old Mofo 15's

I found one on craigslist for 150, i want to pick it up, but its about 110 miles away. And i am also scared about being able to find a re-cone. If re-cones are fairly cheap, then i may run down there. It does not need a re-cone, but its better to be safe than sorry. Any advice ?

    Recommendation for a 15" sub

I just looked at one of those, They are 4 ohm also, and they have a 2.5" voice coil, which means its difficult to find a re-cone for them.

    Recommendation for a 15" sub

I am looking for one 15" sub that will take 1500 RMS. it needs to be a 2 ohm DVC for around 150$ i can pay 200$ but i would prefer not to. I am pretty sure there is nothing "Decent" at my price range. So if you have a better suggestion, Please let me know.

Amp is only pulling 11-12 Amperes at max volume.

Are Caps really that bad ? YES.... An xtra bat or even the big 3 along will do waaaaaay help to your system than a cap.. I have done the big 3, but i cant get and extra battery, because i would have to replace my starter battery also. as you know a weaker battery hooked to a stronger battery...

I think it may just be an old amp meter.

Its a Clamp on Amp Meter. Something like this: http://www.macandchris.com/images/Sears%2082062%20clampon%20meter.jpg But Older.

I may also add, that while my amp is drawing such a low amount of Amperes, it is hitting pretty dam hard(Like Shake The Neighbors House Hard).
