just as the title says, i want to know if my calculations are correct. i am building a box for 3 12" jl audio w'6s. the jl site reccomends the box that is 17" x 12" x 16.5". the port would be 1.25" x 10.5" x 25.5" making the face of the port 13.125: squared. any ways if im not mistaken, A=...

that didnt solve the problem, so i am going to try to find a better ground for the amp. i hope that fixes the problem because the protection ling is also flashing, but the system still plays... very confusing.

lol, i have no ground wires hooked up... that why i thought it might be grounded through the antenna... so do you think that if i hook up the ground it might get rid of the engine noise?

is it possible that my HU is grounded through the antenna? i hooked it up like normal, minus ground and plugged in the antenna and it played. But now i have a new system and i am getting really bad engine noise. is it possible that hooking up the ground on the hu will cure this prob?

subs= 3 jl 12w6's Amp= alpine 1507. i currently have the subs in a seald enclosure ( 1.25 cf / sub.) I was just wondering if the subs would get louder in a vented/ported box and if so, what would be the optimum tuning of the box. i want a good balance of sq and spl. thanks

i know this is an old post, but i was just wondering if the 20 day course would get you a MECP cirtification ( or an oppertunity to take the test), plus has anyone attended the mobile dynamics class, and if so, how much was is to take the complete course ( take MECP test) thanks again.
