Yeah pioneer speakers ****, the jbl people have mentioned are pretty good for the price, idk of any Boston for that cheap in a comp unless your looking to buy used

The pioneer or Kenwood is the way to go, imo the Kenwood looks better and performs better.

Going back to the the main question...the alpines are not that good, I used them in many different applications and are always a disappointment, like most alpine stuff

The check engine light shouldn't be on, I'm saying that 50-60% of the trailblazers and envoys come into my shop with the check engine light on. The harness you can find all over for around $10-$20 but its a 50/50 thing. If you going to use an interface I would recommend a PAC part before a cheap...

Rockford is farrrr better....in my experience they're hit or miss but if you get a good one and mount of correctly you should be good
