    Yea it sounds like a grounded speaker to me. You can also check by putting ur DMM on Voltage DC and disconnect the wires from the amp. Then put one side on positive 12v and the other side on the speaker wire. If it shows 12v then you have a grounded speaker or wire.

    Brown at the PCM, blue plug, pin 22. The PCM is located in front of the driver strut tower, above the battery cover.

    yea the amp is behind the glove box. pain in the a$$ to get to. About twenty screws and the glove box comes out...not too bad after that if you know what u are doing.

    You can run the amp at 4 ohms so you don't blow those subs. Make a jumper wire and go from positive on voice coil one to negative on voice coil two. The remaining two terminals go to the amp.     It is a monoblock amp so you can hook to either set. The frequency should be set at around 80hz.

    parallel wiring

    The amp is bridged internally. Just hook one woofer to one set of terminals and the other woofer to the other set of terminals. They give you two channels for wiring flexibility.
