It doesn't matter whether you choose a mono, or a 2ch, though I would prefer to run a single sub with a mono as that's what they're designed for (such as the LPF, subsonic, etc are all there for you on a mono).

That's what I thought lol -.-.. But help me out, is the problem the wire burning out/overheating or volt drop? I've got a 25A fuse on the wire, and haven't run both amps simultaneously yet so the fuse hasn't burnt out. I'm just trying to work out why everyone says run such large wire.

Is there any other place to order AQ amps? They are out of stock of the AQ1200D, and say it'll take around four weeks to get more stock (+ three or four more weeks to ship to me). Is AQ a new brand? I've never heard of them. I'm assuming they aren't such a large brand, because I've never seen them stocked on the large online stores or in my local shops.

How about MTX? Both amps are rated at 900/1kw rms, and I only plan to run them at about 600/700 so they shouldn't get too hot. I'm more asking about their quality, sq etc?

The thing is that I don't want something too high end, this system is just to last me a few years until I buy my new car. I don't want cheap chinese shit though haha, I just want an in the middle brand.
