My receipt clearly shows the Jbl sub I picked out, not the sub that was installed. Never the less, I do agree with talking to him and hearing his side of the story first.

I find it hard to believe that I won't hear a difference between a $50 sub and a $200 sub. Just my opinion, this isn't my first rodeo.

That's a very good question. Not really sure what to put in now. And I agree, it was shady of the installer to do me like that. The sub is plenty loud, but very sloppy. No definition or clarity, and I'm an sq guy.

And he didn't take any $$$ off the bill for a sub that is $100 cheaper.

I don't think so, it was actually smaller than the sub he put in. My honest opinion is he underestimated the job and had to cut corners to stay in my budget.

Yeah, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and the chance to make it right first. He has the correct sub on my invoice. I'm just not happy with the sub quality.
