    Will Y-Splitters reduce sound quality?

Hi, I have only 1 RCA pre-out in my Pioneer HU and I need to connect it to a 4-ch amp. I have used Y-splitters because according to my logic it did not pose much risk to losing the quality of signal as compared to a Line Output Converter (LOC) or using High level inputs. The Y-Splitters are...

Class A/B high power amps for subs

I understand RF's price is on the higher side; but the RF setups (Mono amp+SW) I've heard sounded pretty amazing. In some cases, it does justify the price tag.

Class A/B high power amps for subs

I guess it depends on the brand and not the country of origin. iPhones are made in China too, but that does not make my Korean made Samsung phone better in quality.

Class A/B high power amps for subs

But, how will you get a good quality amp at 500 / 600 USD rated at 2400 W RMS at 1 ohm load.

Cadence Acoustics Boston 5 Channel? Or other

Focal Access is definitely a good choice for Front speakers. But why not buy a good 4 channel amp for the front and rear sound-stage? I would also suggest to get a Focal components for the rear too. And then maybe a powerful enough mono channel amp for your sub.

Class A/B high power amps for subs

I would suggest a Class BD mono amplifier by Rockford Fosgate   Rockford Fosgate T2500-1bdCP ::     Highlights: Mono subwoofer amplifier 1,500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (2,500 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms) 2,500 watts RMS x 1 at 1 ohm CEA-2006 compliant Dynamic Thermal Management cooling...

Polk PA 500.4. Vs. pioneer GM D8604 vs MB quart AO600? 4x100 under $150

I would definitely go for the Polk. Only had good experience with their products and always heard positive reviews from my friends and family. I would even say that their products are almost equal or better than all the Pioneer products (except Pioneer's Stereo and Multimedia line-up). Why not...

Help in evaluating and installing my budget amp.

I think the manufacturer might already have the speaker cable installed in the car. Should I replace them with the 16 GA speaker wire from the amplifier wiring kit?

Help in evaluating and installing my budget amp.

Well, I bought a 4" Polk coaxials but later realized that the doors can accommodate up-to 6 or 6.5" without cutting up anything. Just wanted to be sure of an ideal placement of the coaxials and components to have a good sound stage. Here are some configurations I came up with : Config 1: Comps...

Help in evaluating and installing my budget amp.

Well, then I went full retard on buying that amp!! Also, my doors can hold only 6" speakers. I understand that without much trouble I could easily fit in my 6.5" components in there, but is it possible to fit in a 4" speaker in there? I read somewhere that I could not. There just seems to be...

Help in evaluating and installing my budget amp.

I'm not exactly sure. I just didn't want to leave the rear door speaker spaces empty. I just want the music to be loud, clear and have a good sound stage in the car. WIll my current setup be able to do that. If not, what else can I do? BTW, this is a 1000 W amp right? I mean the Max Power...

Help in evaluating and installing my budget amp.

Thanks for the info Is it possible to install another 4" coaxials in my rear door further down the road, but taking power supply from the HU? Buying a 2 channel amp for just a 4" coaxials seems too much of an overkill and waste of money. A Sub - Woofer may never happen due to the limited boot...
