Putting 100 clean watts to your speakers would be better for them than clipped 60 watts, so yeah I would go for that setup you just described.

I had my 15's in sealed enclosure. The Dayton's respond really well to that. To really get some SPL going though, there's no replacement for power. I had mine on 1000w (500w each) for a long time and I can't tell you what a difference in low-end adding another 1000w made. That's just part of...

I have some dayton 15" reference-HO's and I can't tell you how much I love them. They fall perfectly into whatever music you throw at them.

You could always wire it up and compare running all six to running only fronts. It really does sound better up front and amping your speakers will give them quite a bit more punch, so might not need that much midbass.

I love my shures. Tried some other things and companies but I always end up getting some shures in the end.

I'm partial to the Massive n3, but that is most useful if you're tight on space.
