I have a Memphis 1500d and want to modify it to 1 ohm. All I have seen is to make it 1 ohm "stable" you need to remove a resistor or something to make it not go into protect. Is this true? Is there any information to show me how to do this?

I have a RE SX powered by a Memphis 1000d in a ported box. I am thinking about getting 2 SE subs in a ported box. I know I will get more SPL with the two, but am I going to lose or gain SQ and is it worth the switch.

I want to hook my laptop up to my deck. I've looked at the auxiliary connectors and Pioneer sells a $30 connector (cd-rb10). Ebay sells a cheap connector for 10 bucks. Is there any difference?

Today I heard that adding a line driver to an amplifier with a non-stock deck (pioneer premier) will give you more spl. Does this work? And what are some brands? Thanks, Ryan

this may not be the right place but somebody may know i have no idea what kind of connector this is, can anybody help? it looks like its square and crimps on very small wire... maybe 22 gauge? it doesnt connect to other wire, it connects to a little metal pin thanks, Ryan

I am wondering what are some good 6x8 speakers? I have looked into infinity and diamond, what are other good brand 6x8s? Anybody have a toyota tacoma and done any other speakers in it? thanks
