What would I all have to upgrade If I installed an Orion 2500D and an Orion 4004 or Diamond Audio D5600.2? I am running stock battery/alternator/wiring on a 2001 Jetta GLS Sedan.

The Orion would be powering a couple different subs (not all at the same time, but testing, etc) I'd like the headroom. How much power would it put out at 1/2 an ohm?

What gauge of wire should I look into using?

How would I wire a Carputer (Ive decided on using a Lilliput or Xenarc 7" touchscreen and hooking that up to a custom built sff or laptop with an M-Audio Revolution 5.1 as the sound processor)

Would it be possible to run the Orion in my house (when testing subs to not put a strain on my electrical system) Would a DC-AC connector work?

anybody? Will this blow my electrical system? I plan on doing the BIG 3 but is there anything else out there I should consider?

If I only draw 1000-1200~ watts from this amp (id be mainly using it as headroom) would it still put a severe strain on my electrical system?

If you are only planning on using half of the power then why wouldnt you save some money and buy a 1200D?

You WILL need a new altenator if you get the 2500D, I have seen tests showing current draws upwards of 200 amps for this beast.

I have 2 OZ Audio Power Series subs (theyre 4k rms each) and I have a few Image Dynamics IDMax. I have to decide which im keeping, and if I ever decide to go with "X" amount of power and I'd like to hear the OZs. The 2500D doesnt seem THAT much more expensive than the 1200 (not 2x). How much are alternators and where would I purchase one?

where would I buy an alternator? anybody? how much do they usually run?
Get one maxima.org and get with Don AKA Pearl96Max, hes a stinger dealer. ON ebay look up iraggi. There Is also can-am but they dont hold up as well. Other companies are mean-green and the mechanical man. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

the 1200 is a good solid amp but i would definitely say go with the one 2500 for the prices you can find them for on here its well worth it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif Maybe after I drop this 1501d //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
