I believe the sub has dual 4 ohm. Should I wire them in parallel to get 2 ohms? I understand the amp is too powerful for the sub, but it is for room for future upgrade.

I have a JL 13" JLw6v2. How many ohms should I wire the sub down to for it to run optimally on a JL1000 amp?

Since I have an Alpine 9835 with a built in crossover, should I let my headunit do all of the processing and leave the cross over settings alone/max on the amp?

Hi Everyone, I just picked up a new JL 1000/1 amp, Can someone point me in the right direction as far as setup of this amp goes? This amp has way more settings than i'm use to. So let's start with the Amplifier Input Selection. Should I have this set to Low or High? My Alpine 9835 deck outputs...
