    Adding rear speakers, recommendations?

Which would you suggest then for a windows down situation? I get that PA speakers in the rear will be higher volume but wouldn't that be the best way to combat the wind? I have a dedicated EQ with F/R knob for easily adjusting the fade back and forth. Sundown Neo Pro v2 6.5"...

    Adding rear speakers, recommendations?

Road noise is not really a problem, it's just the wind from having the windows down at higher speeds (highway). I am impressed with the Imagine's up front (especially SQ). Wouldn't the pro audio style of the Neo Pro 6.5"s work better in the rear for this application than Mirus? I am satisfied...

    Adding rear speakers, recommendations?

Both doors are sound deadened already. I spend most of my time driving on the highway for work and the volume from the front components is drastically reduced with windows open. It is like night and day.

    Adding rear speakers, recommendations?

I have a hatchback with the rear speakers disconnected. Problem is without speakers plugged in the rear.. driving with the windows open or on the highway the sound is drowned out like crazy.

    Adding rear speakers, recommendations?

This is my current setup (no rear speakers): HAT Imagine I61 6.5" component set -> Sundown SAX 125.2 Sundown SA-15 -> Sundown SAX-1200D I'm swapping out my SAX 125.2 for a 125.4 and would like to drop something in the rears. Are the Sundown Neo Pro 6.5"s a good option? Or HAT's Mirus set?

Honda's ELD -- how big of a problem?

That seems like a lot of trouble and out of my area, I'd worry about screwing something up honestly. Is there no other options?

Honda's ELD -- how big of a problem?

It just came to my attention that all Hondas have an ELD that turns off the alternator for low power mode when it's not needed. I have a voltage meter in my car so I can witness this first hand as you can see the voltage dropping up and down (&turning on air conditioning keeps the...

    Deka 9a31 battery posts

Is there any way to use normal battery terminals with this? It's just that bolt sticking out without a nut, and none of my terminal rings even fit around it.

Anyone use one of those Kinetik battery sleeves for mounting?

How did you get it out of the sleeve? Or will you able to just pull it out..? I know the hc800 is slightly lighter than the hc2000.

Anyone use one of those Kinetik battery sleeves for mounting?

I looked around at all the local auto part stores and none of them have those carrying straps, just the claws. Where can I get one?

Anyone use one of those Kinetik battery sleeves for mounting?

Amazon.com: Brand New Kinetik Kms-24 Mounting Sleeve for Khc2400: Patio, Lawn & Garden (but hc2000 version) I mounted this to my trunk floor, but now that the battery is dead, I'm having trouble actually getting the 65lb battery out. There's only about an inch of the top revealed so no way...

Distortion after ~25 minutes of playing

Alright, think I found the problem. I checked the voltage of the rear bat, and it's resting around 9 volts. Tried trickle charging it over night and it doesn't seem to get above 10 so I'm thinking dead. Bought one of those deka 9a31s off Bad4health, re-doing my ground and adding an isolator...

Splicing different gauge speaker wires together

My component set comes with the typical wires to wire everything together, but the wiring needs to be extended to reach the trunk. The wire I need to extend is a higher gauge than the 16 gauge knuconceptz I have. Do I need to buy different speaker wire or can I just splice them together?

Distortion after ~25 minutes of playing

If that is the case, how would I rectify it? The speaker getting too hot? I'm running 16 gauge Karma SS speaker wire from Knukonceptz.com and like I said, the gains are set fairly low and I only play at a moderate volume.

Distortion after ~25 minutes of playing

Running off a SAX-125.2. I've never had this amp get hot honestly, it's usually cold.
