    I did read it all man. When I said 52x combo drive, that means it reads DVD's too. Just picked me up a 16x DVD-rom/52x/32x/52x cdrw combo for $50 shipped. Nice I like it. Anyway, which DVD burner did you get? That's gonna be my next purchase.

    No offense man, but $60 for that Samsung? That's crazy, you can get a brand new 52x combo drive for less than that!

    I've got an IDMax sealed and it handles Dream Theater drums with no problem. As well as some crazy Pantera and Slipknot drumming.

    i/h/e are good solid options, but are really only building blocks to your next level. You really need to decide on a budget and if you want to go with a forced induction buildup or a naturally aspirated buildup. If you intend at some point to turbocharge your car, then just wait and don't buy...
