So I was talking to the local guy who does boxes here in the Tacoma area and he mentioned to me that these subs only like round ports and require their own chamber and ports. Do some subs actually want this? He isn't charging anything extra for a box like this, it was just something he said...

Is this possible with three 10" inch pioneers with the proper port tuning and box? Some songs just don't sound like they should with my current sealed enclosure.

Excuse me and let me edit that just meant the triple ten enclosure. Only needs one port.

Looking to see if anyone had any designs or knowledge of them for a ported enclosure for 3 ten inch subs. Properly tuned nothing fancy plan on doing it myself just need some help on design. Currently have the tens sealed but its not really what I wanted.

After all night looking on ebay and various other sites, Ebay has a H/O 120a alt for $72!! Definitely going to be picking this up. Hopefully will buy the rest of my system by the end of this week. Thanks for the help all.

Thanks I'll probably just push towards the 85 then and the big 3. Also found a 130a alt on ebay for $118.

All I could find locally are 85 amp alts. So would a 22 amp increase be better or do I need 100+?

Yeah it really looks like a decent amp. Good reviews usually do it for me. Also puts out a lil bit more power which is good aswell. I guess I look at another battery because a $200 alt really isn't in my plans. Would a SHURiKEN SK-BT20 be good enough? Or what power should I be looking for?

Hey car audio. Looking to run 2 12" 600w rms/1200w peak subs with a 1500w amp but not exactly sure if my 84 g-body can take it. It has a 63a alt and a red top battery from autozone. Do I need to pick up a new alt or extra battery? Tried to do all the calculations but not quite sure of them...

Thought so. Any idea of what more a little more is? Possibly the 1500D?
