thanks, I will hook up 1 amp to each sub, luckily I had an extra sub I found, I was asking if I could split my RCA pre-amp outputs so I have a set to each amp, I think that will be possible? It is 2.2V output will 1.1V Im guessing? be enuff for the amps or should I do line level inputs?

can I hook up 2 amps to 1 sub? if so how would I wire that? Also, if not can I use 1 amp-output (on my HU) and split it between 2 amps? Thanks

well, since I won't be adding an amp for a while, and Id like to filter out some of those lows, what should I buy, some have said I only need a resistor to get rid of those, anyone know what kind? (all the speaker info is in the previous posts) thanks

UPDATE: have sealed the front speakers, much nicer sounding, had some huge air leaks, thanks for the info! I still think I need to get a pair of x-overs since there is some distortion in what seems to be the ultra-lows would a set of these work...

how do I go about giving them more power, buy another head unit with more output or get a small ~200W amp to power them? any recommendations, (I need a stereo with a 1/8" input for my iPod) I think the rattle is more air around the speakers as I have been reading a lot about that and remember...
