    99% of the time a class d amp will be alot more efficient than a class ab amp of similiar power. As far as sound, a class ab should technically put out better sound, but when we are talking about the low frequencies that subs will be playing, most people can't tell any difference in the sound...

    SQL subs to replace 12" CVR's...suggestions?

    I would look into getting a pair of Phoenix Gold RSD12's. ALOT better SQ and just as loud. They also like big boxes and are very budget friendly.

    sealed or ported

    In a good sealed box vs good ported box, the SQ with the sealed will be noticeably better, or else they wouldn't be so popular. you have to decide whether you value SPL over SQL and go from there. If you want SQ then yeah, you might want to look for a different sub

    Wiring 2 subs in an enclosure that only has one set of speaker terminals...

    Can this be hooked up to a 2 channel amp this same way and then would I just bridge the connection at the amp?

    Seems like everyone new goes for that cookie cutter type r. I would look into getting a better sub. They are decent subs but you can do alot better!

    I have 2 single vc 4 ohms subs and I am running them to a mono amp that can handle the 2 ohms.
