LOC to sub amp question - simple

Yes I agree that it does depend on HU output voltage but I think the Mod was speaking of a "line driver loc". Anyways, I appreciate the input. I am using 1 of the LOCs (probably the Best Buy one) - I haven't checked yet. Would I be better off with a higher quality LOC for the front stage? Boston...

LOC to sub amp question - simple

Well I am using one from Best Buy (orange and black one) and one from the world famous Radio Shack...would switching to a David Navone 4 channel (or (2) 2 channels ones of his improve things noticeably? I understand that it "should" be connected to both left and right channels as there is...

LOC to sub amp question - simple

I had a mono Alpine sub amp installed with a LOC by tapping into a rear speaker - ...question is that the installer only tapped off of the right side speaker...so when I shift balance to the left there is no bass at all.....should the LOC be hooked up to both right and left rear speaker lines...

    bridging components

Just did this last night actually...with a 4 ch amp.....just use 1 high quality set of RCAs and then use similar brand y connectors....run the 2 left channels into one side of amp and the 2 right channels into the other side of amp....so it would be left, left bridged and right right...

    Amp quality question?

Thanks...now what would be a better choice to run those Bostons? I enjoy clean sound.....also, I assume I can run roughly 75-100 watts rms to them as they can take (per specs) 85 continous.... how are Alpine MRV series for use on mid and highs? clean? thanks for the responses....

    Amp quality question?

Hello all, Recently installed a system in a G35 Coupe....I utilized the stock HU, as I enjoy a 6 disc in dash changer. Besides that here is what I used: Front ; Boston Acoustics 6.5 Pro Series Rear: Eclipse Point Source 6x9 Sub: Single 10" Alpine Type R (dual 4ohm coils) Sub Amp: Alpine...
