    Capacitor>?

th****? tard 1000 watts/ farad. And peak doesn't mean ****. I hate ****s that brag about peak and I love telling them my RMS is bigger than their peak. And if you'd get your head out of your ass for 2 seconds, you'll see that bragging and talking **** about other peoples' systems only makes...

    Another amp?

I'm looking at amps in the sub-$200 range. From what I've seen at sounddomain.com, I can get some pretty decent amps for the wattage I'm looking for. I just wasn't sure if there'd be a sound quality difference. I was also thinking of buying new speaker wire. Since I'm going to be gutting the...

    Another amp?

I'm buying a pair of Infinity Reference 9603i and a pair of Infinity Reference 3002cf for my car and I was wondering if I'd notice any real difference in sound quality if I installed another amp for these. The HU I have is a JVC KD-LH3100, and it gives 19watts RMS/channel (50watts peak). If you...

    Do these component speakers ****?

Wow. Somebody finally talks about staging and imaging. Listen to his advice. if you buy a really good set of fronts and nice subs to cover your lows, you'll barely feel like you need rear speakers. I'm looking at a pair of 3.5" Infinities for my car. All my friends are obsesseg with bass, but...

    2 subs twice as loud?

Thanks for some sense in this thread. I believe the equation is a simple high school physics equation : L=10log (I/Io) L is the soundlevel (dB) I is the sound intensity (watts/ sq meter) Io is the threashold oh human hearing (the low end, of course) If you plug the correct numbers in the...
