2003 Accord with oem radio and speakers. I'm curious about testing if there's a signal reaching the speakers. Could I simply hook up a voltmeter to the harness that plugs into the speakers and look for 12v? Or would the voltage not show up as I'm guessing it's constantly fluctuating with audio...

In other words, both black ground wire's from the two harnesses spliced together. Correct?
