I have the 0/1 big 3 kit , 30ft of 0/1 merica wire and copper lugs. Quality stuff. Northstar battery will be next. Found them via Facebook somehow. Glad I did.

I thought grounds were supposed to be close to amps as possible? Myth or time and place for it? I'm assuming battery neg straight it ground on distribution block and no chassis ground by amps? Thanks for everyone's input so far.

Just ordered a stinger volt meter. Funds are low for an SMD right now. Is ok to run 0/1 to distortion I have with a 0/1 to 4g reducer or just buy new distobution with 0/1 inputs? I haven't heard anyone doing that to distrobution block yet with reducer.

Amps will only accept 4g. When I run 0/1 back to amps I will use 0/1 with 4 gauge reducers I guess. Current distrobution block only accept 4 guage also. Prs 80 has volt meter. Is it accurate enough to use? If not I will order one and report back. Lights dim only when I go full tilt but at idle...

I would get the Stinger roadkill or NVX for $100 or less. I've used both and both were great. Stinger was a little easier to work with but NVX was not horrible my any means. NVX is $3 cheaper and get another 4sqft. Over he roadkill. I would not however use non branded dampener. If you do make...

I have 1 sa-10 v3 ported and it exceeded my expectations. 2 would be loud as balls. Why not 1 x-12?

I have not tried fitting it as I wasn't sure about the belt. It does have an auto tensioner. I'll give with a shot with oem belt. Side question If I can't find the engine block to chassis ground can I ground it at the altanator bracket bolt? Thanks

I just picked up a Mechman 240 alt for a Pontiac Vibe Gt. Mechman suggest using a 1/2" shorter belt. Oem belt is a 75" 7 rib. In order to use a shorter belt I have to use a 6 rib. Is this ok? Or should I just try a new 75" first and see if that works being that it's new and not stretched out...
