IIRC the high setting is the normal setting to get full power from the internal amp. With the low setting on the max volume you can turn it up to is like 20? (out of 50). And off the internal amp does nothing

The internal amp has three settings: high, low, and off. I believe the point of it is just like you said, mine is turned off because I am using only external amps

Everyone always says to use deep cycle and its not that much more so why not. I'm probably going to be going with some EnerSys Genesis batteries. But these are tempting still though. They seem like they would be good
