Im understanding a lil more now....I knew about the thickness of the wood and the necessity of that but as for the tuning I am still kind of confused....Does It say this on my specs for my box? cause thats the one Memphis instruction booklet I dont have!!... although what I DO know is that...

Im just wonderin.. cause I know If I tried to fiberglass or build somethin Im pretty sure with my less to nothing mathmatical skills combined with my non-existant construction backround I would for sure make somethin that sounds worse then my prefab...

again....I dont know if this has been said...but in parking lots with the diagonal spaces I go the wrong way down the rows and BACK into the space so my trunk isnt facing outward.. I like to park where I know there is cameras too.

yeah... I still need to do the big 3 and definately my battery is underrated for what Im usin but Im pretty sure its the seal.... when I pop the lid you can hear the rubber pull away from the lid and then after that I hear all kinds of noises coming from that rear window....so...Im thinkin maybe...

it seems like my bass hits harder because my hatch seals tighter around the rubber after sitting all night... but as soon as I break that seal when I open the hatch.. for the rest of the day I can hear a signifigant difference... is there anything I can do? (besides not opening the hatch)...

what I plan on doing (and I dont know If this has already been suggested) is screwing in an eyelet in the bottom of my prefab with a nylon coated steel cable through the floor board in the hatct and lock it through the underside of my car..kind of cluckerish but I think It'll be good!! lol

aight fellahs...I just wanted to drop back in and say thanks.... to stop the shaking and solve the vibrating and rattling all in one shot....I cushoned my Memphis pr1.500 amps with stacked foam squares on top of a 1x2 which I also put 3/4" foam between. I have the amp bolted with rubber...

do you think that the flex of the box is circumventing (sp?) through the screws and vibrating the amp regardless of the barrier between the amp and the box?
