I am looking to add some components to my car. 96 accord..HU is a alpine 9856/ mainly listen to hiphop. 1-12"CVR sealed 1.5ft3 box. w/ phoenix gold 400watt amp...can you also suggest a good 2 or 4 channel amp...looking to add front comp first, then maybe add some to the rear deck..looking to...

mine is rated at 418RMs at 4ohm at 14.4 volts. great amp. POwers my 1-12" CVR great..

tell me if this sounds correct. I hooked my ipod directly up to my amp using a mini-plug to RCA. I had to turn my gain up all the way, and my volume up on my Ipod over 3/4 way, and bass boost almost to half before it started pounding real good. .....My sealed box I made is(doesn't leak air)...

to make sure I am stating this correctly...I hooked up everything with converter box. No sound was coming out from the sub. So I tried an old sub...nothing. So I unhooked the incoming wires to the converter box, pluged them into the sub, and the sub works....So then I hooked the converter box...

no balance and fader is equal. I even tried using the other speaker terminals on the amp and still nothing....any suggestions.

I just bought me a single 12" Kicker CVR and a phoenix gold 400.1 mono amp. I am putting it in a 96 accord 4dr sedan. What size box do I need. Kicker recommends anywhere from a 1.0cu ft to 4.6cu ft. I mainly listen to hip-hop. I want to try and keep as much truck space as possible. but...

or also if anybody has any good amp suggestions, i'll take them. I like the xenon 400.1 because its rated at 400RMS watts at 1-4ohms.

well I stopped by bestbuy on the way home last night. They had a 12" R in a q-logic type 2 ported box. ran by a kicker 400.1 mono amp. that sounded real clean,Good, nice responce, and plenty of punch. Man that think sounded great compaired to what I listened to at Circuit City. I can only...
