I have around $250 to spend and i need a genuine recommondation on a good solid 15 that will take 1000w @ 2 ohms rms all day and that hits extremely hard and sounds good. I need a 15 cuz i already have all the stuff for one besides a good sub. I have a lanzar hrw154d now and it pounds good but...

My box is a 3.4 cubic foot slot port i got on ebay. its solid 5/8 mdf

I was leaning toward the type r, but that only has an rms of 750, the cvx has an input of 1000w

I have a hifonics bxi1210d, it pushes 900rms @2 ohms and 1200rms @1, I also have a 15" slot port box to put it in, and I'm running 0 gauge wire to the amp and 12 gauge wire to the sub. I had a lanzar 15 but i fried it, it was only rated for 600w rms and it was wired at 2 ohms so it didnt last long

I cant decide on alpine or kicker. Has anyone heard either of these subs? I'm up for other options but i only have $200 to spend and they are both in my price range

Well i got a hifonics bxi 1210d and paid $177 brand new on ebay for it and it most definately puts out 900w @ 2 ohms. I blew my kicker cvr15 with it in about a week. And i always heard kicker can handle more than it states. So in my personal opinion I'm a hifonics fan
