Alright, I concluded that this has to be the cause for the whine that I am hearing out of my speaker. I ruled out these probabilities: (Keep in mind, the noise only comes from my right speaker and it gets quieter and louder when my rpm's go down and up, the volume of the head unit has no effect...

Are you talkin about my rca's or the power wires? Cuz my power wires run right next to my alternator.

Does the high pitch engine whine that is comming out of my speakers actually harm them? Will this noise harm my subwoofer when it gets put in? (I am tryin to fix this prob but I need to know if I can run my system while I figure things out.)

I rewired my HU's ground with 10 gauge to get rid of engine whine. Since I ordered 100 feet of the wire I might as well redo the positive too. My question is: do I have to fuse this wire close to the battery if there is a fuse already on the HU's wiring harness?

Is it alright to run the rca's along with the remote turn on wire? Cuz less than 1 ampere is ran through the remote turn on so it really shouldn't have any affect on the rca's am I right?
