Putting a Brahma 15" MK1 in my Dodge Magnum wagon. Going ported, sub up port back and tuning to 32-33 Hz. I'll have 800-1000 watts. I can go up to 4.5 cubic feet net but would prefer smaller. I'm looking for a nasty low street beater sound but I do listen to my fair share of metal.

Well I moved the stock head unit ground to a couple different location, same whine. No better no worse. In all cases, the whine goes away when I disconnect the sub amp RCAs from the back of the head unit. They are cheapo wal-mart RCAs so I'm thinking we just need to replace them with something...
