I hooked up 2, 4ohm MB quart speakers to a 2 ohm amplifier to get some better highs however when I turn it up the speakers cut out. I wired the speakers in parallel because of the ohm difference. In fact I wired each speaker individually from the HU to each speakers to discount any factory...

Thanks. Its a 4ohm sub. I have a soundstream702 running it now but it could be a little louder thats why I was looking for a bigger amp.

Conklin. I was wondering if its were possible to run a second amp for my door speakers off of that particular model. I see it has " output" terminals on it and was wondering if thats what there for? If so can I use splitters to split the signal and run a 4-channel amp of the soundstream?

I have 4 MB Quart speakers and was planning on hooking up a 1000 watt amp to them. Can they handle it?
