Alternater whistle?

Hey guys. I get an annoying whistle when my volume is all the way down. When I unplug my rcas ( from Radio Shack )going to my door speakers whistle stops. Any suggestions? Thanks

Check the many links on the net regarding troubleshooting alternator whine. Could be anything from a bad ground (ground loop) to a blown fuse in your HU. You need to follow specific steps in order to isolate where the sound is coming from otherwise you are just shootin' in the dark at a moving target.
