Testing Results on the Resistance Audio R1.1000d

OK. I final got some time to post some more results. My goal was to get the amp to see a 2ohm load, but I couldn't quite get there. 2.26 ohms was the best I could get. The amp made 40.2 volts, 17.8 amps, and a 2.26ohm reactive load. 715 watts clean backed down .5 decibels. It measured 873 watts...

No I have not tested the Rubicon 2500. I have a friend who may have though. He ran Soundstream products for a long time.

Testing Results on the Resistance Audio R1.1000d

There are a lot of amps on the market that are decent, but this amp is nuts for the price point. It'says really making a lot more power than I'm stating. Notice that I back the volume down before each test. I do this so that the power I claim it makes is very clean. I've tested a lot of amps...

Testing Results on the Resistance Audio R1.1000d

The amp is rated to do 400 watts a 4 ohm, 700 watts at 2ohm, and 1000 watts at 1ohm. I do have 2ohm load test results as well. With box rise up to 3.94 ohm it made 426.6 watts at 13.84 volts. That was 41 volts, 10.4 amps, and a reactive load of 3.94 ohms (Turned down 7 tenths of a decibal from...

Testing Results on the Resistance Audio R1.1000d

I'm not completely finished yet, but I wanted to fill you guys in on my testing so far. I started with an actual 4 ohm load (a dual 2 ohm sub with coils in series). Just so that the results are clean usable power, I always back the volume down at least a few tenths of a decibal. In this test the...

    Earthquake phd2 aka shredder

The Shredder was a very strong amp for it's size. You can run them at really low ohms for burps. I've run them at .35 ohm before, but the are not very reliable street amps below 1 ohm.

    New Amplifier Comapany Resistance Audio

Tymoto21, the biggest differences that I've come across so far are 1. The amp really makes the power it is rated for (and then some). 2. The amp makes more power at higher impedances then most in it's class. So if you have a higher box rise, you will still get good power from this amp. 3. The...

    New Amplifier Comapany Resistance Audio

Yes. I have had the prototype for several months, just received their first production model for comparison. I've been pretty impressed so far.

    New Amplifier Comapany Resistance Audio

There may be some mistakes on the website, but I won't feed you any lies. I was asked to test the amp to see what my opinion of it would be.

    New Amplifier Comapany Resistance Audio

Not at all! I wish I was though. I have been around for a long time, and have had my hands on a lot of amps. They need someone to test it, and I accepted. I love to do these kinds of things.

    New Amplifier Comapany Resistance Audio

You guys need to check out these new amps! I was lucky enough to get my hands on their 1000.1D for testing purposes, and so far I'm loving it. The website is http://www.resistanceaudio.com.
