    Capacitors? Where's the proof?

You know I really do not give a **** what you think about me or my posts.. All this forum is filled with is the likes of you that's sole purpose in life is to dog on people while you partially understand the same topic we are speaking about.. just as I do not know everything... and do not even...

    Capacitors? Where's the proof?

We already have the technology for that.. Tesla Tower as the one he was experimenting with in Nazi Germany pulled ionic energy from the Ionosphere, as well you can take specialty magnets that retain their charge over longer periods of time, perfectly aligned that will along an outer wring and...

    Capacitors? Where's the proof?

Prove it! I have already tried it.. and the cap, looses all energy.. and once it gets down to around 8v it shuts it self off and then you test it and its maybe if your lucky 1 v or a faction of a volt as most 1 farad caps only store around 1 v Your an idiot that does not know jack if you think...

    Capacitors? Where's the proof?

Absolutely wrong.. a cap will only retain a small amount of energy depending on the Fared rating of the unit.. like around .01 v or maybe .5 volt.. depending on the size.. The cap cant hold that 18v because it has no where to store it.. you disconnect power and you will see the cap to start to...

    Capacitors? Where's the proof?

Yeah my bad.. but you are absolutely wrong.. it over a long time will increase its voltage back to the resting voltage as long as the battery is good.. You are saying if you drain the bat down to 10v.. that it will not go back to 12v? Thats wrong.. over time a long time it does.. because the...

    Capacitors? Where's the proof?

What do you think protons are? A battery stores protons.. voltage is the measure of those protons, the amount/force they produce.. so I'm a little confused over your response here.. and a good battery over time will recharge it self back to its initial voltage as long as all protons are active...

    Tweeters question

I have a real simple question.. I am wanting to get some tweeters to mount on the dash or on the door.. I want to run them off the HU, I have 25rms/50max coming from the HU... I was thinking about these prime series.... Rockford Fosgate R1T-S Tweeters - Car Speakers at Onlinecarstereo.com...

    Capacitors? Where's the proof?

Say what??? Amperage, or current, is a measure of the amount of electrons moving in a circuit. Yes voltage is the force of the energy... yes a drop in voltage at the battery in this case would drop the voltage of the system.. but when dealing with the alternator.. there is no drop in voltage...

JBL p1022 anybody ripped one apart?

He didn't say it needed a recone so sure your right if it blew and needed a recone.. :P

JBL p1022 anybody ripped one apart?

Why would you want too, its fine the way it is now.. I have 2 P1224 and they slam... running for 2 years or more now.. 600 rms+ and never had a problem with them and sound great.. Dunno why you would want to ripp it apart... They are just picky when it comes to the box..

    Capacitors? Where's the proof?

Yeah more or less what I said.. but one thing.. Amperage is the measure, flow of the voltage.. your alt doesn't stop putting out 14.xx yeah there is a drop in voltage because you do not have enough amperage to keep the system at the voltage.. so a drop in the amperage (flow of the voltage)...

    Capacitors? Where's the proof?

I'm not a fan of Yellow tops, they have really low power rating compared to Kentik's.. esp for the price.. bottom line is your lights dim because there is not enough amperage in the electrical system to meet the demand, so when your amps pull power.. (its being shared with everything else)...

    Mid Bass question

I had the same problem in my old ford Car, had to open up the cross over but then it tended to distort on certain musical levels.. I would take the advise of sealing off your doors, so the freq. from behind the speaker can resonate with in the door, just like a sub woofer does in a box.. each...
