After a lil trial and error i found out the issue! lol It was the remote wire. And before figuring out i could just run it from my fuse box (which is in my trunk! lol), I ran it from the back of the factory head unit where it didnt work so i tried runing it from the 12v constant wire which...

its a 97 cadillac deville. dont see a blue with white stripe and there are multiple solid blue wires checked the power and ground and they read fine

If you were to choose the remote wire from the back of a factory deck which would you choose? The blue with the black stripe? The fuse is fine ground is good, sanded the surface where i put the ground to bare metal...

WTF! Got off of work spent all evening workin on my system, ran my power, remote wire, ground and loc! Get really excited hook my battery back up... and no power to the amp!!!!! anyone have an idea where to start? im at the end of my rope! lol

Thanks guys, ya i got the walmart special lol. Best buy didnt have any in stock coulda shopped around online i guess... Plannin on buyin a new HU soon so ill jus deal wit this one loc for now and wire straight to new HU when i get one

When connecting my amp and subs to my factory deck with my L.O.C. can i... just connect thru my rear speakers or do i have to hook front and rear? there are inputs for both... Thanks in advance for the comments and advice. (scosche output converter FAI-3A)
