So I know a few people around here have wired up computer fans for cooling there amps. How would one go about supplying power to the fans so they were only on when the car was one without running a wire directly from the ignition? relay from the remote wire I'm guessing?

Found a shop with a 0 awg stinger kit for 100 so will be picking this up tomorrow. Hopefully will have a build log started by this weekend now

1 amp is a jl 1000/1 the other is jl 500/5 both recommend 4awg wire.

Ok, so about to have 4 days off for thanksgiving break and everything for my system is showing up later today / tomorrow.. I forgot to order power wire, was looking at walmart, there kits come with 6ga wire. Would 6ga wire be good enough to run a 1000w amp? If so I guess I'll be running 1 kit...

lol yea, thats what i did with my last car i know better to cut holes before making sure. like the old saying goes measure twice cut once . also by sealed doors. I assume you mean sealing up all the holes in the front section of the door directly under the panel?

its an 04 Pontiac bonivelle. and when i say midway I mean at the front of the door panel about half way up, not in the center of the panel. would you recommend a better spot to put the tweeters because stock are in the sail panels of the door firing directly into the dash.
