I'm designing a sealed enclosure for 2 Kicker 15s for a friend's Grand Marquis. I'm making the box a "wrap-around" style with a void in the middle just so he can, at least, see some of his trunk floor. Due to the lack of trunk space, only 2 designs make sense...either have both subs firing up...

Been looking for 10" subs with 5.5"or less (not "shallow mount") mounting depth, a magnet diameter of 6" or less and 300w RMS or less. These 2 are at the top of my list...Helix Blue B10WDVC2 and Image Dynamics ID10D2 V.4. Which of these is the better quality sub?? Is there another recommendation...

The SAs nor the Type Rs will fit in the box I'm buying unless I buy the Type-R shallows and I'm not spending that kind of money for a shallow mount sub.

Gotcha. I have seen 3 different RMS ratings for the ID10s (v.3). 200, 250 and 400. Which one is correct??

It wasn't on their specs page. I had to download the Owner's Manual. But, yes, the mag diameter was on there. 6-3/16". I should've done a more thorough search.

I've looked on Alpine's website, Crutchfield, SonicElectronix as well as searched Google and I can't find this spec anywhere....
