the GTI can handle several thousand watts cant it?

im considering picking up and Atlas 12 and i know the Qts is adjustable on it but what is it for? i know it has something to do with box size but in what situation would i want to raise or lower the Qts and vice versa?

well i can get one for 180 .....thats pretty cheap for close to 800 watts rms at 2ohms
