Sorry to resurrect this post but has anyone heard anything. Are these amps still on back order from the beginning of the year?

If I am correct the difference is the Encore are the competition amps. Better quality parts and pretty sure the warranty is different also.

Try wiring it up at 1 Ohm. My last amp was a Kenwood that had no specs for 1 Ohm but ran fine for a few months and not once went into protect. Sold that amp when I got my new one.

If it only happens when you turn it up then most likely something is loose and vibrating. Check all the wires behind the head unit also. I had a similar problem with wires behind my head unit being loose from the last owners install.

See another useless post. The dealer I talked to said that Crescendo and been pushing back eta's that they get by a week or 2 and has been going on for a while. I have seen that type of action before from a company that was on the verge of going bankrupt. Hence the questions if anyone knew...

I talked to SSA and they are the ones that said Crescendo doesn't even know.
