100RMS 6X9 subs options for rear deck?

Trying to pick out a pair 6x9 subs that would run off a shared 200W at 4ohm sub channel in my rear deck. Love the price on Tang Bands (Tang Band W69-1042J 6"x9" Subwoofer 264-837) but it says they run at 8ohm impedance... would that mean they'd only be getting 50W per speaker? Also looking at...

Best option for powering front and 2 6x9 subs in rear deck?

I have two front speakers that take 50RMS and two 6X9 subs in the rear deck that take 100RMS at 4ohms. Would I be better off getting a 4 channel amp and doing 50W to each or getting a 3 channel amp and splitting the sub channel to the two 6x9 subs?

Best 6in 50RMS speakers for rear doors under $100?

I've got 5X7s in the front and will putting two 6X9 subs in the rear deck leaving the rear doors available for 6in, 50RMS speakers. Advice on options under $100 to round out the mids between the front and the woofers?

Best 8 free air sub for rear deck at 200rms (4ohms) or 300rms (2ohms)?

I'm planning on putting a 8in sub in the rear deck of my sedan and it will be powered at either 200rms (4ohms) or 300rms (2ohms) from a Rockford Fosgate Prime R600-5 amp. Suggestions on good choices for a free air sub that fits this environment?

    Opinions on compact subs?

Honestly not sure. No set depth that's set in stone. Just would like the overall box to take up as little room as possible while still producing decent bass.

    Opinions on compact subs?

hmm, I've been looking at 5-channel amps for this build and most of the ones I'm looking at are between 200-300W at 4 ohms. Also I was hoping to find one already in a box that has a slim profile. Probably should have mentioned the above rather than vaguely asking for the "best" one. I'm...

    Opinions on compact subs?

I'm looking at doing a single 8in sub, and my goal is to get just enough bass that I can listen to hip-hop w/o it obviously lacking bass. I want to use the minimum trunk space possible to make this happen.

    Opinions on 5 channel amps?

My speakers are all 4Ω so the 4X50 has to be the same. On the sub channel, I could go 2Ω or 4Ω since I haven't bought the amp or sub yet but was thinking probably 4Ω since most of the subs I've looked at are 4Ω. I'm looking at doing a compact sub (probably an 8) in the trunk. Something like...

    Opinions on 5 channel amps?

I'm currently looking at 5-channel amps that do 4X50rms to the speakers and 200-300 to the sub. Hoping to spend $200-250 but could go as high as $300. What's are my best options and why?

    Opinions on compact subs?

Working on my new setup in my Mazda Protege sedan and would like a sub for decent bass but one that takes up as little trunk space as possible while still getting the job done. I'm currently looking at JL Audio's CP108LG-W3v3 but would love to hear what others have to say. Was hoping to spend...

Possible to get decent bass out of 6X9s in rear deck with only 50W from an amp?

If set the gain in the front down to where the 40RMS 5X7s I already have wouldn't get blown but left the 6X9s at 80-100RMS, wouldn't the front get drowned out unless I turned the fader way forward? Also I noticed some people are recommending 6X9 subs while others mentioning regular 6X9...

Possible to get decent bass out of 6X9s in rear deck with only 50W from an amp?

For me, trunk space is more important that earth rattling bass. I'll be totally satisfied with bass that's just good enough not leaving me saying "where's the bass?" when listening to hip-hop. From what I've read, some 6X9s like the Alpine SPR-69 do a pretty good job filling this gap when a...

Possible to get decent bass out of 6X9s in rear deck with only 50W from an amp?

I'm considering a couple of build options and feel like a 50W X 4 channel amp would be fine for my component speakers up front but I'm less confident it's enough juice to get decent bass from 6X9s in the rear deck. I'd appreciate thoughts on this and suggestions for 50 RMS 6X9s that can...

Opinions on front component speakers at 100RMS under $200?

Planning on running a 100W X 4-channel amp through component speakers in the front and Alpine SPR-69s in the rear deck. I welcome suggestions on possible 100RMS component speaker choices under $200.

Afraid I may have limited my options with what I've already installed

If the two sets of speakers were close to the same RMS I'd get the 4 channel for sure. My problem is a 50W would be ideal for the front while 100W would be best for the back. Should I do two separate 2 channel amps? Even if it did that, would the rear speakers with twice as much power drown...
