does the method of using a multimeter and getting your amp gain number set which in my case is like 63.5 before clipping and then using the clamp on the multimeter and setting it to amps and multiplying the two numbers together work to get around the right rms? if it does then that means this...

I called american bass and asked what rms it did at 2ohms and he said it should do 1700-1800.. i dont know if i believe him though. He said if i ran it at .5ohms that would be bad haha

I just recently came across the american bass vfl120.1 for 200$. I currently have 2 xfl 1022 subs wired to 2ohms with aan kicker ix 1000. Since i dont have the electrical to wire it to .5 ohms i have to keep it at 2ohms. Would i get more out the vfl 120 at 2ohms or should i just keep the kicker...

so i have 2- 10" american bass xfl (1022). i have a kicker ix1000 amp currently powering both of them, my question is if i bought another kicker ix1000 amp, is it possible to have them power each sub separately? if so what would i need to purchase to make this happen? Thank you

All I did was take out my Jvc head unit replace it with my stock head unit and put my pac harness on it using the same rca cables and it works.. I tried using all 3 rca preouts on the Jvc but none worked, I just shipped it off to United radio its under warranty so I'll see what happens

Just got new amp today and still not working. So i put back in my stock headunit with pac adapter and it works. I must've blown the preouts on my jvc headunit. Thank god for warranties

i just checked the ohms and im getting exactly 2, i got this amp off hifisoundconnections it has a warranty so i can just send it right back

the subs were perfectly fine last night when i got home, its just this morning its like theres no power going to them. the power light is on with no protection light on, ill just try to hook it to different subs and see what happens

i have a kicker ix1000 its only a month old, anyways i got in my car today turned my headunit up and the subs were barely doing anything at all the only way they get louder is if i turn the sub all the way up on my headunit and then go on the amp and turn bass boost and gain all the way up and...

so if i have my frequency on my headunit set to 60hz for the subwoofer then on the actual amp i should have it turned all the way up? is that what you mean by all the way open? i have a jvc20bt..

he told they were wired to 2 ohms i havent had a chance to check it yet but it is pretty loud definitly worth the 150$ im just goin to need a bigger amp if i decide to keep them but i should have the port facing the front of the car is what your saying?

That's exactly right A couple songs hit hard just most do not.. I listen to rap so what one should I do the -5 or -10? And the head unit could also be a problem there's too many settings.. Should I have my crossover setting for the sub set to through or pick a hz? 50 all the way up to 150hz is...

Im pretty sure its a 0db 50hz.. mine is in a suv and i can turn it all the way up and its really not that loud it doesnt really rattle too much. . I just dont understand it my old cvrs were so loud and were rated half the power of the kickers i have now
